As the founder and coach of Wake The Dead Fitness, she brings a passion for fitness that has been ingrained in me since a young age. From competitive surfing to spinning to being a true gym rat, fitness has always been her calling. It wasn’t until 2014, when she discovered her love for strength and conditioning, that she truly found her path. Since then, She has been dedicated to helping others discover the joy and benefits of fitness. Her mission is simple: to inspire and empower you to feel your best, to guide you through the challenges of working out with enthusiasm and spirit. Owner/Coach

A passionate fitness enthusiast and the proud owner of a thriving gym. His journey into the world of fitness began at the age of 20, when he started working in a gym and quickly rose to manage the business over the course of 7 years. With a deep love for spin classes and a focus on bodybuilding, Michael found his niche within the fitness industry. His dedication led him to pursue and obtain his personal training certification, allowing him to grow his clientele with his cheerful and honest personality. Known for his boundless energy and unwavering commitment, Mike is always pushing people to become the best version of themselves. If you express even a hint of interest, he’ll devote all of his power to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Coach/Personal Trainer

Coach Grey found fitness as a way to challenge himself and grow, and it quickly became a lifelong passion. What started as personal training evolved into a deep interest in strength, hypertrophy, and smart program design. He holds certifications through CanFitPro as a Certified Personal Trainer, along with Advanced Program Design and Hypertrophy Fundamentals. Grey is known for his calm, focused coaching style and his ability to meet people where they’re at. He prioritizes proper technique, long-term progress, and helping clients build confidence in the gym. His goal is to guide athletes and everyday members to train smarter, move better, and consistently push past what they thought they were capable of.

Emma Hurtubise

Coach/Personal Trainer

Coach Emma Hurtubise brings a lifelong athletic background and a deep commitment to performance, safety, and progression to Wake The Dead Fitness. Having competed in sports such as speed skating, basketball, and track & field, and more recently HYROX and triathlon, Emma discovered her true passion for fitness while completing her Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training in 2022, where physical preparedness and resilience were essential. She is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, an Emergency Medical Responder, and an active On-Call Firefighter, combining technical coaching knowledge with real-world experience in high-pressure, physically demanding environments. Known for her strong leadership, attention to detail, and approachable personality, Emma excels at coaching proper technique, building confidence, and helping members progress safely and effectively. Her goal is to help every athlete train with purpose, consistency, and confidence — whether they’re building a foundation or pushing performance goals.

Our facility features barbells, kettlebells, and hex dumbbells, providing both stability and versatility for power lifts and isolation work. Our full lineup of erg machines and bikes deliver efficient, low-impact cardio and conditioning. Plyo boxes and soft boxes support jump training and plyometrics, while our custom rig with pull-up bars and gymnastics rings supports bodyweight and ring workouts. A variety of resistance bands helps scale movements for all levels, ensuring consistent progress.
